Reducing the National Debt

Government spending in Washington is out of control – full stop. To pay for this spending, we are now borrowing trillions of dollars a year and paying over a trillion a year in interest on that debt. It’s not sustainable and if it continues, the future of our country is at stake. I am committed to common sense budget reforms that will slow the growth of government spending and put the federal budget on a sustainable and economically sensible path.
